THE PROBLEM WITH A BILL OF RIGHTS

We are becoming increasingly conscious of restrictions on human freedoms brought about by legislation and regulation. Many 'experts' are suggesting that the solution to this problem is an entrenched bill of rights. But such a 'solution' is far from the correct one. Indeed, instead of delivering us from these restrictions, it would entrench them and add an element of chaos to the law which would harm Australian society. more
